Pamela Davis

Compliance Consultant

Ms. Davis worked in Community Development over 26 years.  She has worked in New Orleans City’s Office of Community Development (OCD) for most of her career.  As Housing Administrator (Bureau Chief of the Affordable Housing Unit), she worked with Developers who received contracts through the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) awards.  Ms. Davis conducted Orientation Meetings with chosen Developers, offered Technical Assistance (TA), ensured contracts were executed and program guidelines were adhered.  One area that improved under Ms. Davis’ guidance was in the area of leveraging OCD’s federally financed awards with external funding.  HUD recognized OCD’s efforts in leveraging funds.  While in the role of the Bureau Chief of the Compliance Unit, HUD cited the fact that there were no audit findings or concerns in the areas of Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EO/AA), Labor Standards, and Section 3, which Ms. Davis supervised.
