Nathaly Monascal has more than 14 years of experience with public and private agencies, and organizations including FEMA and the City of New Orleans. Nathaly has extensive experience in facilitating the FEMA close-out processes of Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, Sandy and Isaac related projects. As Landmark’s Compliance Manager, Nathaly has in-depth knowledge of disaster recovery management best practices, standards and state/federal regulations. She is experienced in the gathering and organizing of all program compliance documentation for FEMA programs. She has an excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. She is a results-oriented leader with significant experience in the planning, development, re-engineering, and management of projects globally and is a strong leader with the ability to motivate lead dynamic, energized and multidiscipline teams. She has business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality and is methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities. Nathaly utilizes an analytical performance approach, able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations in troubleshooting funding issues, performing accounting reconciliation, and providing OIG audit assessments while working to reduce the risk of de-obligations under the Stafford Act.
